Positions Available
Algram Group Ltd is a profitable and growing subsidiary of a highly successful international group. The company provides a range of Engineering and Manufacturing services to an impressive list of clients in the automotive, aerospace, medical and electronic sectors. To support continued growth, we are looking to recruit the following key personnel to strengthen the team:
Quality Controller Nightshift
Details of Duties:
- Patrol Sample Inspection
- AQL Sample Final Inspection
- 100% Inspection where required
- Responsibility for the acceptance of parts prior to booking into stock for Despatch
- Immediate reporting of non-conforming product
Experience/Qualifications/Training:
Suitable training will be given.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a production environment, and an understanding of manufacturing processes. It is essential that they have good attention to detail, and they must be tenacious and committed to continuous improvement.
Hours of Work
Hours of work will be 10.00pm to 6.00am, Sunday to Thursday, with a 30-minute break.

Person Specification
- Good communicator.
- Can work on own initiative to highlight areas for improvement and act on them in a timely manner.
- Ability to priortise tasks.
- To have a proactive approach to their job.
- Flexible and prepared to see a task through to a conclusion.
- Organised, systematic and accurate (attention to detail essential).
- Thorough and determined.
Job Content
- Ensuring the building and surrounding area is maintained to a high standard at all times.
- Cleaning of internal areas of the building as necessary.
- Painting of offices and other areas, including white lining
Customer Services Administrator
Person Specification
- Excellent communicator both verbal and written.
- Adaptable, tenacious and quick to assimilate new processes and procedures.
- Must be able to cope with challenges in a calm and logical fashion within a pressured environment.
- Ability to priortise tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
- Must be totally customer focused and committed to meeting customer obligations.
- Flexible and prepared to see a task through to a conclusion when essential.
- Organised, systematic and accurate (attention to detail essential).
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office ñ Word/Excel/Outlook.
Educational requirements:
Good general education
High GCSE or A' level standard
Customer service or business training would be advantageous
Job Content
- Telephone contact with customers (not selling or telesales).
- Progressing of orders and queries both commercial and technical.
- Daily data Inputting includes Order Processing, maintenance of forecast and schedules.
- Preparation of technical proposals and quotes.
- Communication with both technical and production staff to obtain a successful customer response.
- General office administration duties: filing, typing etc.
- Preparation of invoices credits & debits notes.
- Maintain performance data and involvement in improvement activities.
- Manufacturing experience essential.
- Reception duties.
